Meet the Founder and Lead Translator, Dr. Daria Valentini
Dr. Daria Valentini holds a Laurea in Foreign Languages from the University of Milan in Italy, a Bachelor of Arts and a PhD in Italian from the University of Illinois.
She has been active in higher education as a tenured professor and has published numerous articles and essays on Italian Literature and Culture. She has is an experienced linguist and is passionate about teaching.
Alongside her role as an educator, Daria has been a professional certified translator with an official seal issued by the American Translators Association and the approval of the Consulate of Italy in Boston. She is very knowledgeable and gladly offers her help in the preparation of Italian citizenship application or registration of vital records at the consulate. Through the years many clients have been referring family and friends to her expertise and this is how Ephesus Translation Services came into existence.
Ephesus Translation Services is located in Newton, MA. It is a local and personable business committed to client service and translation excellence. Our clients request translations from English to Italian more frequently, but we also translate from Italian into English, from Spanish into Italian and Spanish into English.
Primary Services:
- Translations for Dual Citizenship (by descent or by marriage) and for the Registration of Vital Records at an Italian Consulate.
- Translations from English into Italian of US Diplomas and Transcripts for the Declaration of Value and recognition of one’s academic credentials.
- Translations into English of Tax Returns and Vital Records for the US Green Card or the Driving License.
- Apostille Service to affix the apostille both to the original and/or the translation.
- Genealogical Translations to interpret old manuscripts to retrieve information related to one’s ancestry or to an ancestor’s birth.
- Consultation by phone, Whatsapp or Zoom to determine which documents need to be translated, and what is the difference between applying in the United States and applying in Italy.
- Consultations in person for clients residing in the Boston area and in Massachusetts.
